What are your rates for house cleaning services?

Fees are based on the condition and size of the home. It is best to contact the office directly for an estimate. Our customer service representatives will walk you through our cleaning processes and provide you with a price for a service that has been created to fit your specific needs. Offices provide free, no-obligation estimates for cleaning services right over the phone!

What is your service area?

We service the following areas: Greensboro, Burlington, Mebane, Highpoint, Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Hillsborough, Garner, Graham, Morrisville, Raleigh, and Wakeforest.

Do I need to do anything before my cleaning team arrives?

The cleaning service from DJM Cleaning is here to help. To allow us to be most efficient, it is helpful if you pick up toys, laundry, household items, and clutter before the team arrives. This allows us to move through your home more quickly, which can lessen the cost. Leave fresh linens out so we can change the bedding. And put away any important documents and valuables. No worries though, we’re ready to tackle the worst possible messes, and will neatly pile and arrange any items left on floors or furniture.

Running water and electricity is important for us to clean. If we are unable to complete the service due to no water and power, there will be a cancellation fee of 100% of the price as a same-day cancellation fee.

Can my animals be out while my house is being cleaned?

We love pets and will be very careful around them. Please let us know in advance what kind of pets you have so we can take care to not startle them or accidentally let them outside. We also ask that you secure them as appropriate in case visitors make them nervous.

What if my cleaning team missed a spot?

Call us within 24 hours and we will re-clean the area, free of charge.

How do I pay for my cleaning service?

To enhance security measures in response to a rise in scams and other fraudulent activities, we now require a 50% payment to be secured 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning appointment. We charge all cards at 8:00 AM on the day of the clean. We require a card on file in order to save the appointment. You may also request to get a Square invoice, wherein you can pay through Credit or Debit card, bank transfer, Venmo, or PayPal.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, kindly inform DJM Cleaning by calling our office at 919-648-2727 or leaving a message. To avoid any fees, please make changes at least 2 days before the scheduled appointment start time. However, if we receive less than 2 days notice, a 50% charge of your service price will apply. If you cancel on the day of the clean, we charge 100% of the price of the service, as a same-day cancellation fee.

Arrival Window

DJM Cleaning provides a service arrival window of 1 hour in order to account for the unforeseeable variables that happen from day to day. The standard arrival window is two hours. For example, if you have an appointment scheduled at 10 am, our crew will arrive between 10 am and 11 am.

Access and Lockout Policy

Can’t be there for the cleaning? No, problem. Just let leave a key hidden at the service location, let us know where, and you’re good to go!

Are You Bonded and Insured?

Yes, DJM Cleaning LLC is fully bonded and insured. We are guests in your home or business, which is why we have taken the necessary measures to provide you with the peace of mind you need to feel confident in our professional cleaning services.

Do I Need to Provide You With Cleaning Supplies?

No. You are not required to provide DJM Cleaning LLC’s team with cleaning products or equipment. Our team has professional-grade tools and cleaning supplies to make sure that our service is effective. Of course, if you would prefer that we use the products of your choosing, all you have to do is let us know in advance and we will accommodate your request because customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities.

Is it Normal to Feel Nervous Before my First Cleaning Appointment?

As a matter of fact, it is. Letting someone else see the level of cleanliness you keep your home or office at is a truly intimate and revealing thing. This is something we have understood since we started our professional cleaning business, which is why we guarantee complete discretion. Besides, there is nothing we haven’t seen before. And even if there is a brand-new mess, we won’t judge. Our friendly and courteous staff should get rid of the nerves shortly after they arrive and start making your home or business a more pleasant place to be.

Do I Have to be There at the Time of my Appointment?

Not at all. Most of our clients prefer to leave us alone to clean so that they can come home or come into work to an expertly cleaned space. After all, isn’t one of the biggest perks of acquiring professional cleaning services is that you can spend the time you would be cleaning on other things?

Do You Send the Same Person Every Time?

We try to because continuity makes for more consistent service. However, sometimes life gets in the way. If the cleaner(s) that typically works on your property isn’t available, another member of our fully licensed and bonded team will arrive at the agreed-upon time and provide the same high level of service you have come to expect from DJM Cleaning LLC.

Do You Conduct Background Checks on Your Employees?

Yes, we do. We need to be confident in our employees’ ability to represent the DJM Cleaning LLC name, which is why we are very careful when selecting candidates.
